Pranav Adani is Director of Adani Enterprises, the Adani Group’s business incubator and flagship company. He heads a diverse portfolio of businesses, including Real Estate, City Gas Distribution, Media, Biogas, Charging Infra, Agro and Natural Resources.
Mr Adani began his leadership journey in 1999 with Adani Wilmar. Today, he spearheads Adani Realty, the Group’s real estate arm, which has developed 31 million sq ft so far and has a further 400 million sq ft under development in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and the NCR. Under Mr Adani’s stewardship, Adani Realty is tasked with one of the most complex resettlement and redevelopment projects in history, the urban regeneration of Mumbai’s Dharavi, one of the world’s largest and most densely populated slums.
As a strong advocate of India’s food security and farmers’ empowerment, Mr Adani has enabled the Group’s foray into the agriculture sector with Adani Agri Logistics and Adani Agri Fresh. He has also nurtured Adani Total Gas to become India’s largest private sector CGD (City Gas Distribution) company, serving 52 regions that together account for 16% of India’s population, along with JV partners TotalEnergies of France and the Indian Oil Corporation.
At the Group level, he plays a key role as the chief custodian of brand Adani and oversees its communications and branding arms. An avid squash player, Mr Adani is passionate about sports and is driving talent development not only in domestic sports like kabaddi and kho-kho but also in major international sports like golf, chess, marathon and cricket, through Adani Sportsline. He has promoted the spectacular success of cricket’s Women’s Premier League, the world's second most valued women's sports league, and also holds the team Gujarat Giants, the WPL’s Ahmedabad franchise.
A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, Pranav Adani is also an alumnus of the Owners/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
