Adani Sportsline marked its entry into the Women’s Premier League in 2023 with Gujarat Giants, driven by a vision to elevate women’s cricket, develop world-class talent, and create a global stage for athletes. Led by captain Ashleigh Gardner, alongside Head Coach Michael Klinger and coaches Sarah Taylor (Fielding), Dan Marsh (Batting), and Pravin Tambe (Bowling), the team has built a strong competitive foundation.

Building a playoff finish in 2025, the Gujarat Giants delivered a standout 2026 season, finishing in the Top 2 of the league stage and securing a second consecutive playoff berth, reflecting their continued growth and ambition.

Since their debut in 2017, Gujarat Giants have shaped a distinct identity in the Pro Kabaddi League, defined by discipline, defensive strength, and the belief of “Garjega Gujarat.”

With two finalist finishes, the team has consistently balanced performance with the development of emerging talent. With Kabaddi’s “Chanakya,” Randhir Singh Sehrawat, appointed as Head Coach, the Giants enter the upcoming season with their competitive edge and push for a stronger showing in the upcoming season.

The Gulf Giants mark Adani Sportsline’s foray into global franchise cricket, competing in the UAE’s DP World ILT20 and bringing together a diverse pool of international talent.

Winning the inaugural title in 2023, the team established an early legacy of excellence. Since then, the Giants have continued to evolve as a resilient and competitive unit, with each season reinforcing their presence in the league.

With captain James Vince at the helm and newly appointed Head Coach Simon Helmot steering the ship, the Gulf Giants are locked in on long-term global success. Helmot brings a proven championship pedigree, having led the Melbourne Renegades to their maiden WBBL title in 2024. The Gulf Giants now remain focused on building long-term success on the global stage. While the most recent campaign reflected the team’s resilience, the focus has already shifted towards regrouping and returning with greater intent in the upcoming season.
