Adani Sportsline, the sports arm of the Adani Group since 2019, is dedicated to fostering a deep-rooted sports culture at the grassroots level and creating globally competitive pathways for India’s future champions. Driven by the vision of nation-building, we aim to develop a world-class ecosystem that nurtures talent, boosts the sports economy, and supports India’s rise as a leading sporting nation.

Based in Ahmedabad, Adani Sportsline has established multi-sport grassroots academies and invested in prestigious leagues like the Women’s Premier League, Pro Kabaddi League, Ultimate Kho Kho League, and the International League T20 UAE. We also organise the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon - a #Run4OurSoldiers event, to contribute towards the welfare of armed forces and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The Gujarat Giants franchise is aligned to our philosophy of nurturing sporting talent and creating global opportunities.

The team reached the finals of the Pro Kabaddi League in its first two years, earning runner-up titles with the rallying cry 'Garjega Gujarat'. In 2019, led by top-seeded boxer, Amit Panghal - our boxing team debuted in the Big Bout Boxing League - securing a championship win with notable athletes such as Ashish Kumar and Poonam Punia.

In 2022, we broadened our support for homegrown sports by entering the Ultimate Kho Kho League and participating in the Legends League Cricket.

Continuing this momentum, 2023 saw our first foray into the Women’s Premier League, under the leadership of esteemed cricketer; Mithali Raj and renowned coach, Nooshin Al Khadeer.

Adani Sportsline expanded its reach to the international cricket scene by participating in the UAE International League T20 with the 'Gulf Giants'. Through this team, we aim to connect with cricket enthusiasts worldwide, leveraging the UAE ILT20 as a platform for global engagement. The team benefited from the expertise of Zimbabwe's cricketing legend and captain, Andy Flower, who served as head coach for both the first and second editions. The roster featured world-class cricketers such as Shimron Hetmyer, Chris Lynn, and Carlos Brathwaite. Demonstrating our commitment to excellence, the Gulf Giants were crowned champions in the inaugural edition of the International League T20.

The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon, launched in 2017, is our tribute to the bravery and dedication of India's Armed Forces. Recognized on the 'Global Marathon Event List - AIMS World Running' since 2021, this event has quickly grown into a significant national event. The marathon features a scenic route along the Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad and attracted over 22,500 participants in its 7th edition in 2023, making it a cornerstone event under the expert direction of Race Director Dave Cundy.

The Garv Hai initiative is a testament to Adani Group's dedication to nurturing India's sporting talent and facilitating their success on international platforms. Initiated as a pilot project for the 2016 Rio Olympics, #GarvHai has since supported 26 athletes across various sports, contributing to their notable achievements, including appearances and medals at the Tokyo Olympics and Commonwealth Games. The addition of chess prodigy R. Praggnanandhaa and emerging table tennis talent Poymantee Baisya to our roster of athletes underscores our ongoing commitment to supporting India's sports stars.
