Lost & Found
If you misplace your baggage or your belongings at CCISA, Lucknow please do not worry. We are here to help you retrieve your lost items. All the agencies at the airport are directed to deposit any unclaimed goods under the lost & found property. The goods are deposited after duly recording the contents, description, date & time of depositing, and the depositor's signature.
The lost property is kept on as is where is basis. The airport is not liable for any damages to any lost property under its custody. Baggage handling and delivery at CCSIA is the responsibility of airlines from the point of check-in to the point of collection. If anything is left onboard the aircraft, respective airlines should be contacted immediately.
All the lost & found items are submitted here so that passengers can reclaim them with proper identification with the permission of the Duty Terminal Manager (DTM). If a passenger loses something inside the Security Hold Area, they can contact the nearest CISF officer.
Lost & Found Claim Process:
- Copy of Boarding Pass / Ticket
- A letter filled and signed by the owner with details of the items being claimed
- Government-authorized photo identity card, preferably Passport / Driving License / Aadhaar Card / Voter Card
Step 1: Contact Lost & Found Department and submit your details.
Step 2: Lost & Found Team will Verify the details and revert to Passenger.
Step 3: In case the item is verified, the lost article/articles may be claimed on producing the following documents during working hours only:
In case the passenger is not able to claim the item in person, they may authorize someone to collect it on their behalf.

Any such item will be appropriately processed as per the guidelines. Lucknow International Airport (LIAL) is not liable for any wear, damage, alteration, or modification that may occur to these items during the time of their storage.
Lucknow International Airport (LIAL) does not offer courier or postal services for lost items, nor insurance or any similar coverage. Items found shall be stored responsibly in line with the retention/storage policy. To reclaim a lost item, individuals must follow the outlined process, including verification of identity and proof of ownership. A valid government-issued ID, boarding pass/ticket, and an authorisation letter (if the item is being collected on someone’s behalf) would be required. Items that remain unclaimed will be managed as per Lucknow International Airport's (LIAL) retention policy.
