Mr. Gautam Adani is the Chairman and Founder of the Adani Group. Under his visionary stewardship, the Group has emerged as India’s largest ports and logistics business, largest private power and transmission player, largest solar power generation and manufacturing company, largest integrated coal management company and largest agriculture business.

 

Mr. Adani’s leadership of the Group has been driven by one core principle – nation building. In line with this philosophy, each of the Group’s businesses is focused on helping build world-class integrated infrastructure capabilities that India needs to accelerate its growth.

 

Through his vision, sheer tenacity and relentless drive, Mr. Adani has transformed the Group from a trading company established in 1988 into a global conglomerate that today comprises four publicly-traded companies with combined revenues of $11 billion a year.

Mr. Rajesh Adani has been a vital part of the Adani Group since its inception. With strong leadership and interpersonal skills, he heads the Group’s operations and has been responsible for developing its business relationships.

 

His proactive and personalised approach toward the business and his competitive spirit have contributed greatly to the growth of the Group and its diverse businesses. He currently spearheads the Group’s Energy vertical.

A Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS), Dr Priti Adani is modestly treading a path hitherto less travelled, both in the education as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR) space. Under the Adani Foundation banner, she spearheads the Adani Group’s CSR and philanthropic initiatives, delivering the promise of the Group’s ‘Thinking big, doing better’ philosophy on the ground.

 

Through these initiatives, Dr. Adani ensures that the Adani Group actually touches the lives of as many people as possible, ensuring sustainable progress and development for them.

 

The Adani Foundation’s healthcare programs make a difference to over 200,000 people every year. The sustainable livelihood programs have made over 35,000 people and their families self-reliant and the Foundation has improved the lives of over 500,000 people across 177 villages by helping provide better roads, drinking water and other basic facilities.

Dr Malay Mahadevia joined Adani in 1992 and worked on developing Mundra port from conceptualization to commissioning.

 

Dr Mahadevia has been awarded 'Outstanding Manager of the Year' by Ahmedabad Management Association in the year 2002. In 2008, he was conferred PhD by Gujarat University in the field of "Coastal Ecology around Mundra area".

 

He is a member of many professional bodies including Centre for Engineering & Technology (CEPT), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Board of Advisors for Maritime studies in Gujarat University, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI).

 

Before joining Adani Group, he was in service with Government Dental College, Ahmedabad as an Assistant Professor.

Mr. Pranav Adani is the Director of Adani Enterprises Ltd., and also heads the Coal Mining and Trading, Agri, City Gas distribution and Real Estate businesses.

 

His astute understanding of the economic environment has helped the Group in scaling up the businesses multi-fold. Having joined the Group in 1999, Mr. Pranav Adani has been instrumental in initiating & building numerous new business opportunities across multiple sectors. He has capably spearheaded the Joint Venture with the Wilmar Group of Singapore and transformed it from a single refinery edible oil business into a pan-India foods company.

 

Mr. Pranav Adani is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, USA. He is also an alumnus of the Owners/President Management Program of the Harvard Business School, USA. Mr. Pranav Adani has been conferred with several awards, including the ‘Globoil Man of the Year’ accolade in 2009.

Mr. Karan Adani is the Chief Executive Officer of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited (APSEZ). He is currently spearheading a transformation at APSEZ to form an integrated logistics company with an objective to add further value for the customers

 

An economics graduate from Purdue University, USA, He is technologically savvy with a global outlook and believes in setting the highest benchmarks in all areas of business. He has successfully steered the growth strategy of APSEZ resulting in its rapid expansion from two ports to a string of ten ports and terminals. 

A mechanical engineering graduate from Government Engineering College, Haryana, Mr Vneet  S Jaain has been leading power projects including all facets from conceptualization to commissioning and operation.

 

Mr Jaain is experienced in project management across many industries including coal and iron ore mining, coal washery, cross country water pipelines, cross country conveyors and railway lines. He has been responsible for commissioning several power projects in the country.

 

Before joining Adani Group in 2006, he was working with Jindal Steel and Power.

Mr. Jayant Parimal is the CEO of Adani Group’s Renewable Energy Business, which is responsible for projects in Solar PV, Wind and Energy Storage. He has led the build-out of a pipeline of more than 1GW renewable projects during the last year. Jayant has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Delhi, and has served as an Indian Administrative Services officer in Gujarat State Government for 18 years, most recently as the Secretary of Finance of the State of Gujarat.

 

Before joining the Adani Group, he was President at Reliance Industries Ltd.

Mr. Samir Vora, a BSc from California State University, USA, has over 20 years’ of diversified experience in International Trading and the Resource sector, with his main area of expertise is in Coal Mining and the Infrastructure.

 

In his current capacity as COO- Mining Australia, his role involves in setting up of India’s largest integrated manufacturing of solar PV modules at Mundra in Gujarat. This manufacturing facility will support solar power ecosystem of India and create an end-to-end solar power play from manufacturing to generation.

 

Mr. Samir Vora is also responsible for the development of the Carmichael Coal Mine, North Galilee Basin Railway and Abbot Point Port (T0) expansion with a total capital outlay of AUD 10 Bn. 

A mechanical engineering graduate, PG Diploma in Operations & Materials Management, and an MBA in Finance, Mr. Vinay Prakash has diversified experience across power plant maintenance, port marketing, shipping & logistics, materials management, coal mining and trading.
 
He is the chairman of ASSOCHAM National Council on Coal Sector, and also a member on the Governing board of Skill Council for Mining Sector.
 
Before joining the Adani Group in 2001, he was working with the Aditya Birla Group in various roles.

 

 

 

Mr. Rajiv Nayar joined the Adani Group in April 2016 after 30 years career at Citigroup. At Citi, he had a broad based experience in both developed and emerging markets in India, London and Hong Kong across various disciplines including Corporate Banking, Project Finance, Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Capital.

Sudipta Bhattacharya is the CEO for the Adani Group - North America. He is also the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Group. Prior to his current roles he has also held the positions of CEO Adani Ports and SEZ (APSEZ) and Chief Strategy Officer for the Group. Before joining the Adani Group he was the CEO of the Invensys' Safety and Control and Software business. Prior to Invensys he was the Senior Vice President for SAP's Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Engineering product portfolio. He has also worked for 10 years for the Tata Group in India managing chemical plant operations, engineering projects and supply chain operations.

Mr Jeyakumar Janakaraj joined Adani Group in September 2013 as Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s Australian operations and has taken over the responsibility for Adani’s Mine, Rail and Port projects in Australia. Jeyakumar has a rich experience of 21 years in the mining industry, building and developing world-class mining projects and resource companies. Prior to joining Adani Group, MrJanakaraj was with Sterlite Industries for 18 years during which time he held a number of executive roles, most recently CEO and Director of Konkola Copper Mines, Zambia. Jeyakumar has a Mechanical Engineering degree from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. In 2006, Jeyakumar was awarded the Gold Medal by the Indian Institute of Metals for his significant contribution to the non-ferrous metallurgical industry and is also listed by the International Who’s Who of Professionals (2009).

A BSc from California State University, USA, Mr Pranav Vora has more than 18 years of experience in the field of shipping, particularly in the commercial dry bulk sector.

 

Mr Vora joined Adani Group in 1993 and was responsible for cargo handling at ports, chartering of handysizes to handymaxes for transporting agro products, polymers, metallurgical coke and steam coal.

 

Currently he is leading the shipping business of the Group and is based in Dubai, UAE.

A civil engineering graduate from Thapar College of Engineering, Patiala, Mr Rajeev Sharma has nearly 40 years experience in the oil and gas industry.

 

Mr Sharma has been working with Adani Group since 2003 and is responsible for the Group’s initiatives in the gas business and in developing city gas distribution projects across the country.

 

Before joining Adani Group, he worked for GAIL India in various capacities.

A metallurgical engineering graduate from IIT, Roorkee, Mr Rajesh Jha has rich experience in metal industries especially Iron & Steel and Aluminium.

 

Having started his career from Tata Steel in 1988, he was responsible for setting up of  a number of large Iron & Steel projects  in various states of India. He has been the recipient of several awards and accolades, including Udyog Rattan Award in the year 2009, Think Odisha leadership award in 2014. He was a Council member  of Indian Institute of Metals during the year 2004-05 and Vice Chairman of CII Odisha for the year 2011-12

 

Before joining Adani Group in 2014, he was working with Utkal Alumina International Limited as Managing Director cum Chief executive Officer.
